Per email on 05/02/2024 from David Thorpe: "...The view is after the restoration and the opening in 1922, but before the building on the left was demolished and replaced by a small vestry on the south west corner of the site in 1953. I would suggest it is pre-WW2 as the roof was much restored from damage after this.

I think it is late 20s early 30s...."

Per Facebook post by Brian Morrison 4/3/2024:
"When I was a kid at school, at the time of Queen Elizabeth 2's coronation we were all given a book called 'Royalty in Essex' which featured this chapel. A few years ago I finally got round to visiting it. I found it very atmospheric."
