{- per Jim Crawford on HEIRtagger: "There's a typo in the caption. Let's assume it's Piggott's mistake, rather than one of you lot dropping the ball... :) It's "Chalton", not "Charlton". Chalton Windmill is a Grade II listed tower mill on the top of Windmill Hill at Chalton, Hampshire, which has now been converted to residential use."

per boarshill on HEIRtagger: "Search of the HEIR database throws up three more windmill images by Piggott, all captioned "Charlton" rather than Chalton. (1) 35821 (which looks very similar if not identical to 35824 above) and (2) 35822 and 35827, which look to me like the same ruinous mill taken from different angles." -}
