Per mail from Martin Rush, site identified. "North face - Old Bewick is about a dozen miles NW of Alnwick and a few miles southeast of Wooler.
The rock carving tradition in north Northumberland, bordering Scotland, began about 6000 years ago and is estimated to have continued in various contexts for 2000 years.
Numerous glacially smoothed horizontal surfaces and earthfast boulders of the Fell Sandstone bear deeply carved abstract markings"
