{- Per class31 on HEIRtagger: "This shows two sleds. The first sled carries a steam powered winch complete with a vertical boiler. The cable is attached to a stout tree in order to pull the sled along. The second sled carries a steam powered tender locomotive suitable for use on a logging railway line. It is likely that the two sleds are attached so that the steam locomotive is being transported where it would be difficult or expensive to construct a railway line. We are likely to be in a logging area which could be the west coast of the USA. A fascinating photo. You never know what you will find here!" -}
